- As the trusted partner to the Head of Sales (f/m/d) for the Region Europe within Grid Technologies you have the unique opportunity to shape and drive regional strategic growth initiatives such as vertical sales development, portfolio pushes, and pricing enhancements to increase overall market growth and profitability
- You play a key role to develop and implement the regional sales strategy by coordinating and aligning with and across Execution Units, and Functions of Grid Technology as well as the Siemens Energy Hub Europe.
- You are the interface between the regional sales areas and the businesses – understanding their objectives and aligning them with regional sales planning through recurring processes such as order intake planning, sales target agreements, and market intelligence updates
- As a focal point, you provide valuable day-to-day support by facilitating swift clarifications or issues and support the sub-regional & country organizations with operational sales reviews, harmonizing reporting structures, and pipeline reporting & analysis.
- You demonstrate a ‘safety first’ approach and live the Zero Harm culture: thinking & working safely, in line with organisational & regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, specifically in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with sales planning, CRM utilisation (Salesforce) and business forecasting as well as ability to think outside the box, challenge the status quo and inspiring change with a hands-on attitude
- Several years of experience related to sales, bid management and operational execution of technical capital equipment, solutions, and service business in a short to medium duration sales cycle
- Understanding of the T&D Market, customer and competitor behaviors/patterns, Business Models/Types (e.g., Product/Systems, Project and order execution as well as Service) committed to the most effective Sales channels on the focus area
- Versatile interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to prioritise and manage own time effectively to achieve targets, particularly in a multi collaborator environment
- High business results oriented able to steer virtual teams coupled with excellent communication skills towards a structured, analytical, and responsible way of working
