A Snapshot of Your Day 

At Siemens Energy, we are on the lookout for a seasoned Requirements Engineer with a strong background in Systems Engineering to become an integral part of our dynamic team focused on HVDC and FACTS Control Systems. In this role, you will collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams to design, maintain, and manage the requirements for these essential control systems. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing and resolving complex systems engineering challenges, ensuring system stability and functionality, and defining innovative features and capabilities as needed.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Play a key role in defining the trajectory of HVDC and FACTS control systems as you embark on our systems engineering journey
  • Work closely with stakeholders to analyze and document customer requirements, ensuring that their needs are met
  • Approaching problems with a systems mindset, engaging the organization in solution strategies that consider effective chains and boundary conditions. Follow requirements throughout the entire development process
  • Drive enhancements in the requirements engineering process and tools, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency
  • Achieving objectives while maintaining a comprehensive view, designing cross-functional strategies that transcend organizational boundaries
What You Bring
  • A university degree in a relevant technical field, such as energy engineering, or electrical engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in requirements engineering and systems engineering in R&D
  • Proficiency with requirements management tools like Polarion or similar, as well as architecture tools such as MagicDraw or Enterprise Architect
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, Strong self-organization and structuring abilities
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, bringing new insights and value to the team and projects
  • Proficient English and German
