A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Project Procurement Manager, you will be a key individual contributor that represents procurement organisation in the Project - sales and execution phase, as a sub- project manager leading the project procurement strategy within our STG organisation. The successful candidate will coordinate all procurement activities in a project under optimum deployment of resources, while collaborating closely with proposals, procurement, commodity management, supplier quality and other internal functions. You will implement project procurement strategies, aiming to optimise project results. You will be responsible for identifying and selecting suitable suppliers for each project and to ensure compliance of obligatory procurement processes and regulations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Establish accurate sourcing and procurement processes, managing all procurement resources and project activities.
- Lead contractual and price discussions and/ or support the specialist buyers responsible for particular material fields.
- Analyse scope of supply and contract agreements, carry out risk analyses and advise contract discussions.
- Analyse sales and operations planning in respect of starting new projects, and support project calculation with reliable cost data.
- Drive procurement strategies in projects and ensure their implementation.
- Clarify internal indicators for project controlling and compiling all relevant information to submit qualified reports.
What You Bring
- Proven project management experience required, ideally within purchasing (direct and indirect commodities), within international company (manufacturing or industrial focus advantageous).
- Proficient in English, minimum B1 level knowledge of Czech/ Slovak, knowledge of German is a plus. Confident user of office tools.
- Advanced knowledge of commercial law and ability to lead contractual negotiations with third parties.
- You are goal oriented, driven, possess an outstanding communication and interpersonal competence, as well as excellent presentation skills.
- Creative, adaptable and flexible approach.
- Basic orientation in P&L, experience building procurement controlling reports.
