A Snapshot of Your Day
As project engineer you are responsible for maintenance, development and project support for technical reference designation RDS-TS / RDS-PP. You coordinate the reference designation with the technical specialists in the project teams and at a higher level with the customers. You work as a team member in an international project environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Contribute to the energy transformation with innovative products from our portfolio
- Maintain and further develop the technical reference designation RDS-TS for high-voltage switchgear (AIS, GIS, HVDC, FACTS)
- Collaborate on digital plant modeling and the structuring of project templates
- Provide project support for adapting project templates to customer projects
- Understand and analyse customer specifications with a focus on technical designation and documentation
- Serve as a project contact for customers regarding customer-specific reference designation and for technical specialists in project teams regarding technical reference designation
What You Bring
- Successfully completed university degree in the field of electrical engineering / energy technology
- Several years of professional experience in planning and realisation of high voltage substations or power plants
- Knowledge in technical reference designation (RDS-TS / RDS-PP / KKS) desirable
- Fluency in German and English, written and spoken
- Knowledge and interest for digital modelling/ digital twin of complex plants is a plus
- Initiative, results orientation, with strong customer focus and teamwork
About the Team
The Engineering Platform team is responsible for providing engineering tools for the complete HVDC systems, with a focus on control and protection systems. This also includes the digital modeling of the entire system and its systems and subsystems with their technical parameters and technical reference designation.
