Siemens Energy is seeking an experiences Mining Business Development Manager to drive growth and market expansion across Middle East and Africa (MEA) hub. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and promoting Siemens Energy’s solutions tailored to the mining sector. The role will focus on fostering relationships with key stakeholders withing the mining industry to support sustainable and innovative energy solutions. The ideal candidate will be based in Saudi Arabia RHQ and operate across MEA

How you’ll make an impact?

- Business Development:
  - Identify, develop, and manage strategic business opportunities in the mining sector across the MEA region.
  - Expand Siemens Energy's market presence by building relationships with potential clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers within mining companies.
  - Develop and implement tailored sales strategies for mining projects, with a focus on energy solutions that address sustainability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Sales & Market Expansion:
  - Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive business development plan targeting mining companies in the MEA region.
  - Achieve sales targets by promoting Siemens Energy’s solutions, including renewable energy, electrification, digitalization, and decarbonization technologies for mining operations.
  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units, legal, and innovation center, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business strategies and develop account plans for the mining sector.
- Client Relationship Management:
  - Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients in the mining sector, ensuring consistent engagement and understanding of their evolving energy needs.
  - Work closely with the sales and service teams to provide client-specific solutions, offering value-added services and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence:
  - Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitive activity in the mining and energy sectors.
  - Provide market intelligence and strategic insights to Siemens Energy leadership to drive product and service innovation for the mining industry.
- Partnerships & Collaboration:
  - Develop strategic partnerships with technology providers, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors, and industry associations to enhance Siemens Energy’s market positioning in the mining industry.
  - Represent Siemens Energy at mining industry events, conferences, and forums across the MEA region to increase brand visibility.

What you bring?

- Education:
  - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Business (MBA) or a relevant technical discipline is preferred.
- Experience:
  - Minimum 7-10 years of business development or sales experience within the mining sector or related sectors.
  - Proven track record of success in developing and implementing growth strategies, particularly in the Middle East and Africa regions.
  - In-depth understanding of the mining industry, its players, including its operational challenges and energy requirements.
- Skills:
  - Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  - Ability to work independently and drive results in a competitive market.
  - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
  - Knowledge of energy solutions such as renewable energy, electrification, and digitalization technologies is highly desirable.
- Travel:
  - Willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East and Africa region.
