Join our dynamic engineering team at the switchgear plant in Berlin, where you will be designing innovative and customized solutions for our switchgear products. Imagine collaborating with diverse teams across manufacturing, R&D, purchasing, and quality departments, as you create and adapt designs while managing drawings and parts lists. Your contributions will not only enhance our product offerings but also support our mission of delivering reliable energy solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Design tailored solutions in close coordination with the offer and order management team.
• Support our diverse interface partners by addressing technical questions related to design details and decisions.
• Develop and implement improvement and cost-reduction measures to enhance our products.

What You Bring

• A successfully completed university degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical college training (e.g., state-certified technician) with several years of professional experience.
• Desirable knowledge of electrical switchgear and control systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Creo.
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style.
• Fluent communication skills in English, German could be a plus.
• A strong sense of team spirit and responsibility.

Our Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid. Siemens Energy offers an outstanding range and solutions in HVDC transmission, grid stabilization and storage, high voltage switchgears and transformers, and technology related to digital grid technology.
