A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting service activities for power plants equipped with Siemens Energy gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators. Working closely with experienced Project Managers and cross-functional teams, you will help coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities under long-term service contracts, ensuring high levels of reliability, availability, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will gradually take ownership of sub-projects and specific service activities, building your expertise and growing into an autonomous Project Manager role. Every day brings new opportunities to collaborate with customers, optimize operations, and contribute to the energy transition through innovative upgrades and modernization solutions.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support the execution of maintenance projects and service activities for power generation assets, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and contractual commitments.
  • Coordinate planned outages, maintenance programs, repairs, field services, and follow-up activities to achieve benchmark fleet reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedules, risks, opportunities, resource allocation, and change management in close collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead customer and internal project meetings, monitor project performance, resolve operational challenges, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contract expansion.
  • Contribute to modernization, efficiency improvement, and decarbonization initiatives while supporting sales activities, contract modifications, and proposal preparation.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in engineering and/or project management, preferably within gas turbine, steam turbine, generator services, or the power generation industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English; German language skills are an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of project financial management, risk management, project planning, scheduling, quality, and compliance management.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, SAP, and Salesforce, combined with strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills.
