A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Fleet Project Manager, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our global fleet of the most advanced Gas Turbines in Siemens Energy. You will work together with teammates around the globe supporting both our new part business and our repair facilities in Charlotte and Winston-Salem! You will collaborate with our project colleagues to support their needs and ensure we deliver on our customer requirements. This position will report to Karina Ortiz, Head of Fleet Management for 5000F Gas Turbines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Demand and inventory planning of major gas turbine parts (used and new) of the managed fleet.
• Procurement of new parts and launch or repairs for the fleet; assurance of delivery capability and reliability for major parts.
• Solution Implementation of technical field issues in the fleet.
• Support of internal customers, e.g. Sales, PM, regarding commercial or technical questions of major parts.
• Support for the optimization of the logistical processing and inventory management.
• Harmonization of material masters in collaboration with the Engineering network for efficiency.
• Review existing processes to identify and lead process improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years' of experience in industry.
• Proficient in gas turbine product knowledge or related industry (automotive, aerospace, etc); regarding function, manufacturing processes and operating behavior of relevant components.
• Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems.
• Excellent working knowledge of SAP, Oracle or any other ERP, required and knowledge of business, financial, and operational processes within the service organization.
• Effective communicative skills, positive teammate, ability to be assertive, logical and analytical approach as well as initiative in planning ahead.
• Professional english level is a must.
