As an IT DevOps manager in the manufacturing environment, you will be a key member of the gas turbine combustion manufacturing team, responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the shopfloor IT systems and applications that underpin our factory operations. This role is critical to maintaining our paperless production processes.
The position is intentionally hands-on and closely connected to manufacturing operations, with management responsibility primarily focused on end-to-end ownership of solutions, projects and operational outcomes rather than people management.

Your duties will also include participating in factory projects, conducting audits to ensure compliance, and acting as a trusted partner to the manufacturing organization, from production staff to management.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. You should have proven experience in an IT support role, preferably within a manufacturing setting, and be proficient in IT systems planning, implementation, troubleshooting, operation and improvement. - Serve as a key interface between shopfloor operations and central IT, ensuring compliance with IT standards and governance frameworks.
- Ensure the effective resolution of incidents and systemic issues related to IT systems, applications and manufacturing-specific devices, minimizing production downtime and safeguarding operational continuity.
- Conduct regular system audits and assessments to identify risks, ensure compliance with standards and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide functional guidance and oversight to one IT employee and one working student, including task prioritization, coordination of daily activities and practical knowledge transfer.
