A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Head of Quality – FACTS & Storage Projects (Head of GT SO EQS QM FS), you and your team of experienced Quality Managers in Projects (QMiP) will be responsible for the Quality Management delivery of all FACTS and Storage projects executed by SE GT SO (Excluding in UK and North America).
Significant time will be devoted to engaging with colleagues across various functions, leading meetings, providing guidance, and collaborating to promote and sustain our Right First Time culture within your portfolio.
Through interactions with peers and internal senior stakeholders you will ensure strategic Quality targets are being met and projects are fully supported on Quality related topics throughout the project lifecycle. Your role includes overseeing resource requirements and identifying trends within your portfolio, as well as, balancing strategic improvements with immediate operational needs as necessary to safeguard delivery excellence across a complex, high-value portfolio.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support and provide a clear direction to your team of QMiPs on internal process and working instruction system.
- Ensure reporting systems and processes are running smoothly, driving improvements where necessary.
- Monitoring performance and escalating issues requiring management attention and ensure conclusive closure.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the team and with stakeholders, promoting talent and skills development.
- Attend PRMs and act as the escalation point for the portfolio, towards customers and internal stakeholder.
- Ensure adequate resourcing planning to meet forecast demands.
