A Snapshot of Your Day

In this highly visible and entrepreneurial role, you will lead the Grid Technologies Service business in Romania, with full accountability for growth, profitability, people leadership, and execution excellence. 

Together with SV EE leadership team, you will define and implement the GT SV country strategy and action plan, proactively driving market expansion, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring outstanding project execution, EHS, and quality performance. You will act as the face of GT Service in Romania, working closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders across Siemens Energy to position the business as a trusted, value-creating partner in the Romanian energy market. This role requires a strong growth mindset, hands-on leadership approach, and excellent stakeholder management, combined with deep respect for EHS, compliance, and operational discipline.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Define and implement the GT SV Romania strategy and execution roadmap to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and market share.
• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities, aligned with customer needs, market trends, and Siemens Energy’s portfolio.
• Drive a strong sales and market approach, with a clear value proposition and close cooperation with regional and global GT Sales teams.
• Lead and develop the Romanian GT SV organization, fostering a high-performance culture focused on ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Build strong cross-functional collaboration with Execution Units, Sales, Engineering, Finance, HR, and EQS.
• Actively contribute to regional and global GT discussions, targets, and transformation initiatives (including the 30/30 ambition).
• Ensure excellence in project execution, from bid to delivery, with strong focus on cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Champion a zero-harm mindset, embedding EHS and quality as non-negotiable foundations of the business.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens Energy standards, local regulations, and customer requirements across all operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Represent Siemens Energy Grid Technologies Service at customer events, industry forums, and strategic discussions in Romania.
• Act as an escalation point for critical customer and project topics.
• Lead and shape the GT Service business in Romania with real impact on growth and market positioning.
• Gain end-to-end responsibility from strategy and sales to execution and delivery.
• Be an active member of the GT Service leadership community, contributing to regional and global initiatives.
• Work in a fast-paced, growing business at the center of the energy transition.
• Build a strong professional network across Siemens Energy and the wider energy ecosystem.

What You Bring

• Master's degree with background in Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in business management, project execution, consulting, sales, business development, or operations within the energy or infrastructure sector.
• Proven track record in driving business growth and managing P&L responsibility.
• Strong leadership experience, ideally in international or multicultural environments.
• Demonstrated experience in project execution, with solid understanding of delivery models, risk management, and operational excellence.
• Deep commitment to EHS, quality, and compliance, with the ability to lead by example.
• Strong stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels, including customers and senior management.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and hands-on mindset with the ability to take ownership of complex challenges.
• Willingness to travel within Romania and internationally as required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Romanian language skills are highly desirable; additional European languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of the T&D / Grid Technologies market and services is a strong advantage.
