Responsibilities

Grid Engineer role involves tasks to implement electrical simulation models and maintain performance standards.

• Developing and optimizing electrical simulation models using tools such as Matlab/Simulink, Dig Silent PF, PSCAD, and PSS/E.
• Conducting various simulation studies with a focus on transient stability and harmonic studies.
• Parametrizing Wind Turbine simulation models and maintaining the Wind Turbine parameter database.
• Benchmarking and validating developed simulation models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Implementing wind turbine functions and features into the simulation model platform.
• Investigating and analyzing wind turbine functions and features in relation to connected grid systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in model development of electrical simulation models and electrical simulation.
• An educational background in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 Years Mandate in PSCAD
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, Dig Silent PF, PSCAD, and PSS/E.
• Experience in conducting simulation studies, particularly transient stability and harmonic studies.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• A dedicated team player who thrives in a multicultural environment.
