A Snapshot of Your Day

As Global Qualification Lead, you will play a central role in shaping and driving qualification management within Siemens Gamesa’s Global Training organization. Your day will span strategic work and hands-on project leadership, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the global learning ecosystem.

You will lead global initiatives from early concept and screening through development and operationalization, working with diverse, multicultural project teams across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa. Reporting to the Head of Training Excellence, you will be part of a truly global, award-winning team with colleagues based in the United Kingdom, Denmark, Spain, and the United States.

How You’ll Make an Impact

In this role, you will directly support the operational business by ensuring robust, future-proof qualification frameworks that enable performance, safety, and compliance across Siemens Gamesa.

Your impact will include:

• Driving strategic qualification management in support of the new Wind Power Competence Framework
• Leading stakeholder collaboration across the Siemens Gamesa learning and training organization
• Partnering with Competence Managers, Training Project Managers and Qualification managers to analyze and implement new training requirements, including training profile design
• Developing and implementing a global process for identifying, deploying, and maintaining qualifications as part of the Entering New Projects process
• Managing projects related to qualification digitalization, including requirements definition and business case development (e.g. digital certificate solutions)
• Optimizing and automating processes and systems to reduce cost, complexity, and lead times

What You Bring

You are passionate about renewable energy and motivated by the opportunity to support the energy transition through strong competency and qualification frameworks. You combine a genuine interest in learning and competence development with solid business understanding and a focus on delivering measurable value.

You bring:

• Proven experience as a project manager, ideally within global or matrixed organizations
• A strong ability to design and deploy training or competency programs
• Analytical and structured thinking, with a pragmatic approach to identifying and closing competency gaps
• Hands-on experience with LMS platforms, skills databases, or competency tools
• Experience working in certification-, audit-, or compliance-driven environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels
• Experience supporting change or transformation initiatives, including driving adoption of new frameworks, processes, or systems

About the Team

You will join Global Training Excellence, part of the Siemens Gamesa Global Training organization. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining training frameworks, portfolios, products, and the supporting processes and systems landscape.

Training Excellence works in close partnership with the operational business, Technology, EQS, and Training Execution Hubs across the United Kingdom, Denmark, Spain, Hungary, Morocco, Egypt, India, China, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, and the United States. Together, we enable consistent, high-quality training and qualifications that support safe, efficient, and compliant operations worldwide.
