As a part of the Sales team you will be responsible for achieving profitable sales results by establishing and implementing business plans and sales strategies. This by interaction with the key customers in cooperation with the Siemens Energy Center of competences globally and in close cooperation with the involved teams to generate competitive proposals directly leading to the penetration and/or expansion of the existing business base.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Sales Process Management: 

Manage the entire sales process - from business development to the closing phase - including defining customer value propositions that add real value to the customers’ businesses, managing/creating competitive bids, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the successful handover of acquired projects to the execution team.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Regularly visit customers and business partners to build and maintain strong relationships, expand the customer base, and serve as the local contact for the designated market segment.
  • Sales Strategy & Technology Promotion: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to proactively promote Siemens Energy CD (Controls and Digitalization) technology while achieving sales targets and ensuring customers satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification: Enhance market transparency by identifying key business areas for growth and new opportunities
  • Cross-Business Unit Coordination: Coordinate sales activities across different business units to ensure a unified internal approach while pursuing opportunities.
  • Sales Reporting & Management Communication: Provide regular reports to the country Sales Management to maintain alignment and effectively track performance

What You Bring 

  • Completed Bachelor or Master education in the field of Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a commercial function, preferably within the Gas and Power sector;
  • Technical knowledge at least at system level and excellent knowledge of the functionality of the systems offered, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the products / services of the competition;
  • Affinity with the new trends and social media;
  • Process-oriented;
  • Knowledge of contract management is an advantage;
  • Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills;
  • Fluent knowledge of the French, Flemish and English language in word and writing.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

You will join a diverse and multicultural team working for the complete North and West Europe Region with a specific focus in Belgium.
