SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY

In this role, you will lead a large-scale, vertically integrated manufacturing operation producing engineered high-voltage components for global markets. This position is ideally suited for a senior manufacturing leader with experience in highly standardized, modularized production environments, such as automotive, Tier-1 suppliers, or other industrial manufacturing sectors with strong Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence systems.

You will guide and empower leadership teams across operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and finance to deliver outstanding results in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and customer experience. Your focus will be on translating strategy into execution—balancing short-term operational performance with long-term capability building.

By staying closely connected to customers, proactively managing risk, and driving productivity through standardization, flow, continuous improvement, and digitalization, you will ensure the business remains competitive, scalable, and positioned for sustainable success.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Own full operational and financial responsibility (P&L) for a vertically integrated HV Components manufacturing business serving domestic and global markets

• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing, cross-functional leadership teams to achieve best-in-class results in EHS, quality, delivery reliability, cost, and customer satisfaction

• Deploy, strengthen, and sustain Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence systems, including standard work, visual management, structured problem solving, and performance management

• Drive productivity improvements, cost-reduction, and footprint optimization initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering

• Define and execute mid- and long-term operational strategies aligned with safety, quality, delivery, and financial KPIs

• Build a robust talent pipeline and succession plan, developing future leaders within a performance-driven manufacturing culture

• Establish and maintain strong risk, resilience, and opportunity management processes across the value chain

• Maintain deep customer insight and leverage automation, digital tools, and data-driven decision-making to enhance competitiveness

• Champion an inclusive, compliant, and safety-first culture, ensuring full adherence to EHS, Quality, and Integrated Management System standards

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale manufacturing environments, ideally including:

  – Automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers

  – Highly modularized, platform-based, or standardized manufacturing systems

  – Industrial equipment, electronics, or other complex engineered products

• Demonstrated success leading high-volume or high-complexity manufacturing operations with strong cost, quality, and delivery performance

• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or similar production systems

• Experience operating within vertically integrated, end-to-end value chains

• Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven P&L ownership

• Ability to operate effectively in an international, multicultural environment; fluency in English required

• A leadership approach that combines discipline, empowerment, accountability, and continuous improvement

• Experience in the energy or T&D sector is advantageous but not required

Applicants must be legally authorized / eligible for employment in Mexico.
