Your day involves executing hands-on mechanical tasks such as dismantling, overhauling, and reassembling gas turbines, while ensuring all work meets the highest safety and quality standards. You will manage on-site maintenance activities, oversee subcontractors, inspect tools and spare parts, assist in re-commissioning, and maintain accurate documentation, all while adhering to strict EHS and compliance protocols and collaborating effectively with the team.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Execute gas turbine maintenance tasks, including dismantling, overhauling, assembly, and re-commissioning, while performing precise mechanical adjustments like blading, grinding, and filing.
• Ensure turbines are returned to service correctly by adhering to established guidelines during service events.
• Participate in safety briefings, strictly follow EHS protocols, and inspect tools and equipment to ensure operational safety and standards compliance.
• Accurately perform and document technical measurements as part of quality assurance procedures.
• Manage subcontractors on-site, ensuring their work meets project protocols and quality expectations, while overseeing spare parts handling and inventory management.
• Organize and pack tools, parts, and consumables efficiently to support smooth site operations and demobilization.

What You Bring

• Education: Graduate of a technical high school or institute in industrial mechanics or mechatronics, with at least 5 years of experience in gas turbine mechanical erection and maintenance, preferably in the power generation sector.
• Technical & Mechanical Skills: Proficient in testing and measurement using mechanical devices, converting between measurement units, and performing advanced manual tasks such as chiseling, filing, grinding, and more.
• Operational Competencies: Strong knowledge of gas turbine erection and maintenance procedures, field service safety protocols, and quality assurance standards, with the ability to manage subcontractors and parts inventory on-site.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English proficiency for technical communication, reporting, and team collaboration.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
