A Snapshot of Your Day
At Siemens Energy Transformation of Industry - Steam Turbines & Generators, your day as a Financial Analyst would put you at the center of driving accuracy and impact across our operations—partnering closely with supply chain teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, analyzing financial data to ensure strong reporting, and supporting key month-end activities. You’ll actively shape improvements by leveraging digital tools and SAP, while delivering meaningful KPIs for inventory and accounts payable that guide business decisions.
In a collaborative, ownership-driven environment, you’ll also contribute to continuous process improvements, support cross-functional initiatives, and play a critical role in maintaining strong controls—all while growing your expertise and helping us “make tomorrow different today."
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Review, analyze, and resolve 3rd party and Internal AP discrepancies
- Partner with Supply Chain organization to resolve discrepancies of vendor invoices
- Create and maintain standard cost calculations in the ERP system including the annual cost revaluation
- Drive digitalization and process improvement efforts within own responsibilities and across the organization
- Produce and report monthly KPI’s for Inventory and AP
- Analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting and complete month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Special projects, ad-hoc report, and other accounting duties as required.
- Ensure compliance with Risk and Internal Control processes and procedure
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- 3-5 years of relevant financial analyst experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) required
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP; IFRS is an added advantage)
- Proficiency in SAP ERP system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in Digital tools (Alteryx, PowerBI, etc)
- Exceptional attention to detail and well organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
