A Snapshot of Your Day

We are currently seeking an EHS and Quality Lead to join our team considering the expanding market opportunities within the dynamic energy sector. Quality and EHS are of paramount importance within the organization and business. In line with that, we would expect you to have a sound understanding of EHS fundamentals and preferably some quality background and experience in implementing EHS and Quality Management System based on all applicable standards and Legislative / Legal requirements. You will be responsible for all EHS & Quality processes and activities within Indonesia working alongside your colleagues within the Asia Pacific region. You shall possess good communication and leadership skills including the attributes of a great teammate.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Leadership: 

  • Champion of EHS within the organization / business in Indonesia and support Quality initiatives as required.
  •  Sound knowledge of Legislative / Regulatory and International Standards requirements
  • Guiding and educating all personnel on EHS and Quality requirements based on the established management systems.
  • Disseminating Quality and EHS details and information from Business and Region on timely manner in accordance with the line of communication.

Partner Engagement:

  • Ensures timely engagements with internal and external partners as well as fulfilling all requirements considering the interfaces along the life of an activity or project.

Implementation:

  • Diligently participate in all meetings, engagements and collaborate with the region focal points on EHS & Quality matters and ensure all applicable requirements are successfully rolled out across the Business in Indonesia.

Audits and Inspections:

  • Plan and perform internal management system audits and project audits in accordance with the Audit Plan in liaison with Region Coordinator or focal points.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all external audits from either Customer, Regulator Bodies and / or accreditation Bodies, follow up on actions if any and ensure it is closed out satisfactorily.

Incident Management:

  • Attending to all incidents with utmost vitality with emphasis on appropriate and timely reporting within the system and line of communication depending on severity of the incident.
  • Ensures all incidents are investigated as the need arises with appropriate root cause(s), corrective & preventive action(s) established, and report completed and shared in accordance with the stipulated timeline
  • Ensures the corrective and preventive actions i.e. Lesson Learned are implemented optimally and the effectiveness of those are gauged during inspections or audits as part of the continuous improvement process.
Competence Management:
  • Ensure training requirements for the Office, Project personnel and contractors are fulfilled in accordance with the established training matrix.
  • All training records are maintained appropriately and easily accessible and retrievable.

Risk Management / Assessment:

  • Facilitates and guides all relevant personnel / functions on risk management / assessment methodology.
  • Ensure risk assessments are performed and covered wide across all activities within the organization and business.
  • Review and update the risk assessment accordingly considering review cycle, audit finding, customer requirements and incidents.

Reporting:

  • Ensures accurate, complete, and timely internal and external Quality and EHS reporting in accordance with the stipulated requirements and frequency.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Always being Proactive and seeking ways either based on data analysis or / and other improvements tools to improve EHS and Quality

What You Bring

  • Professional Qualification: Holds a EHS competence certificate in accordance with “Indonesia’s Legislative OSHA requirements which recognizes you as proficient Safety and Health Officer or alternatively is in the processes of acquiring the certificate.
  • Education: Holds a bachelor’s degree in technical or EHS and / or Quality related field.
  • Experience: Has a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in the field of EHS and preferably Quality.
  • Incident Management: Understands the incident management lifecycle comprising incident reporting including classification, containment / corrections, Root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Language: Has good command of English, both written and spoken, ensuring seamless communication in our global environment
  • Communication: Has good communication and presentation skills, enabling you to optimally convey Quality and EHS details and requirements to diverse audiences.
  • Leadership: Can lead, guide and collaborate with various functions / disciplines s on all Quality and EHS matters.
  • Auditing: Having a Lead Auditor Certificate in ISO 9001, 14001 and/or 45001 will be an added advantage otherwise trained as an internal Auditor with good understanding on Audit lifecycle is crucial.
  • Legal Compliance: Has a good understanding of applicable statutory / legislative requirements.
  • Energy Sector Experience: Having some experience within the energy sector or power plants will be an added advantage.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
