A Snapshot of Your Day
Imagine stepping into a role where you drive Cost & Value Engineering (CVE) activities across cutting-edge tower technology platforms like MKVI, MKVII, and OSS MkVII. Your day is filled with dynamic tasks, from ensuring cost-out implementation and manufacturability validation to aligning with Procurement, Technology, Operations, and Finance. You’ll support negotiation processes, monitor Material Cost Productivity (MCP) pipeline execution, and coordinate technical documentation. Your analytical skills and project execution discipline will be key as you will secure cost improvements from concept to implementation, making a tangible impact on our projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Deliver monthly MCP and project implementation information to support supplier negotiations and ensure MCP savings are integrated into prices.
- Validate COGS bridges for MKVI and MKVII, ensuring they reflect actual productivity savings.
- Create Business Cases for MCPs on OSS MkVII, aligning with Technology and Operations requirements.
- Convert Design-to-Cost activities into validated MCP measures, optimizing components like beams and doorframes.
- Provide timely deliverables for Engineering Changes, including cost and manufacturability impact analyses.
What You Bring
- An engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tower fabrication, and cost drivers.
- Experience in Cost & Value Engineering, Should-Costing, or Procurement Engineering.
- Proficiency with Excel and analytical tools, and familiarity with ERP/PLM systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables under time pressure.
