How to contribute to our vision:

As part of Regional Electrical Engineering team, candidate will provide specialized Electrical Engineering Support, such as but not limited to:

Provide Engineering support for Operations, to include:

Advanced Troubleshooting on Electrical Systems, mostly focused on Power Converters (Direct Drive, Full Converter and DFIG topologies) and Grid Issues.

Wind Turbine technical support to various electrical components (power units, generators, transformers, motors, cables, electrical cabinets, controllers, grounding, lightning protection, etc.).

Familiar with Root Cause Analysis of Electrical Components Failures.

Create internal and external reports.

Create and Revise method statements to be used by O&M personnel.

Support technical customer discussions.

Provide Engineering support for Sales and Proposal, to include:

Support Sales/Proposals teams on engineering scope for aftermarket offers (product and services).

Provide Engineering support for Supply Chain/Procurement, to include:

Provide technical response/solutions for material dispositions.

Support vendor qualication/evaluation.

What You Need To Make a Difference

5 + years of solid work experience in electrical engineering roles, Wind Industry experience highly preferred.

Familiar with 3-phase power converters and power units (highly preferred).

Strong understanding of electrical power system operation and performance in steady state and fault conditions required.

Solid understanding of major wind turbine components and functions.

Knowledge of Instrumentation, relaying/metering, CT/PT, HV/MV/LV components (cables, insulators, capacitors, inductances, breakers, switches, motors, e.g.), medium voltage switchgear.

Schematics for control and power distribution systems, Single line diagrams.

General knowledge of communication and control systems (SCADA, networks, e.g.).

Electrical codes/standards for Wind Power Plants (IEC, IEEE, NEMA, NERC, FERC, WECC, ERCOT, UL, FAA, etc.).

Fluent in English is a must (you will work with global teams)
