A Snapshot of Your Day

You will learn aspects of supply chain resilience and risk management. You learn disaster management principles specific to financial, security, legal and operational ramifications to resilience as you study the concept of supply chain multidisciplinary risk at the Headquarters/Central Functions level!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You’ll be a part of a high performing project management team integrating Security, Procurement, Supply Chain, Safety and Legal aspects, to better understand the financial and risk needs of daily operations
  • Analyze actual contracts with our customers under significant mentorship, to identify and assess operational and technological risks to multi-year purchase agreements valued in millions of dollars
  • Work with project managers and subcontractors on project planning, budgeting and execution within a strict timetable and engage in cross-functional collaboration with trainers internationally, allowing you to experience working globally.
  • Develop real world project management skills, through being responsible for your own small project with the support of a project manager on the team
  • Learn the basics of managing Risk for our Products and Solutions as you critique training to this effect

What You Bring

  • Rising senior or grad student pursuing Bachelor’s Degree/Master's Degree in business, finance, security or related
  • 3.2+ overall GPA
  • Basic understanding of project management, scheduling, budgeting, Financial Risk and Financial management
  • Proven digital literacy with MS Office, good Excel skills
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to self start with direction
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

The North American Supply Chain and Product Security team is a multidisciplinary team, consisting of Business and Security professionals who are forging a new path in how to manage the risk of supply chain disruption due to financial, cyber, political/legislative and environmental risks.
