A Snapshot of Your Day

Blade Repair Technicians will travel to various sites in order to inspect, repair, and maintain turbine blades to ensure structural integrity. This role is considered to be a full-time travel role with breaks depending on project needs.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Structural Integrity & Safety: Composite Technicians repair and maintain turbine blades, ensuring the structural integrity of the wind turbine. This directly impacts the safety of operations and prevents catastrophic failures.
  • Performance Optimization: By addressing damage such as cracks, erosion, or delamination, they help maintain aerodynamic efficiency, which improves turbine output and reduces energy loss.
  • Asset Longevity & Cost Savings: Their work extends the lifespan of turbine blades, reducing the need for costly replacements and minimizing downtime, contributing to a better return on investment for wind farm operators.

What You Bring

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred
  • Skilled in Blade Inspection and Repair: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing blade damage to maintain optimal turbine performance and safety preferred.
  • Strong Safety and Climbing Experience: Trained and certified to work at heights under strict safety standards in demanding environments preferred.
  • Efficiency and Reliability: Focused on minimizing downtime through quality workmanship, accurate documentation, and teamwork with operations and maintenance crews.
  • Ability to travel
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

This role may be based in various locations across the United States. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits, including paid time off and holiday pay. For positions based in the United States, the base salary range is $50,000 to $60,000 annually

Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
