Pro Integris is searching for a highly motivated and technically proficient Bid Manager specializing in Substation Control and Protection Systems to lead and coordinate the preparation of competitive and compelling bids for high-voltage substation automation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in protection and control systems, and a proven track record in bid management or proposal engineering.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a strong team selling the best Grid Automation solutions in the market. Bid Engineer will support proposals activity for Grid Automation Solutions in a global environment and report directly to Tender Management Head. The role will require close coordination and teamwork with Business Development / Sales / Application Engineering resources.

Located in Split or Zagreb (Croatia), you will be a part of the team of Pro Integris d.o.o. who is the 100% Siemens Energy subsidiary/legal entity.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead the end-to-end bid process for substation control and protection projects, from initial inquiry to contract award.
• Analyze customer requirements, technical specifications, and tender documents to develop winning strategies.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, legal, finance, and project management teams to compile accurate and competitive proposals.
• Prepare technical and commercial bid documentation, including scope of work, pricing, schedules, and compliance matrices.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure alignment with company policies and profitability targets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the bidding phase.
• Support contract negotiations and handover to project execution teams upon award.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in substation automation, protection and control systems, or related areas.
• At least 2 years of experience in bid management, proposal engineering, or sales support.
• Strong understanding of IEC 61850, protection relays, SCADA systems, and substation communication protocols.
• Excellent project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and bid management tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, or similar).
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Valid work permit in Croatia is must have.
