A Snapshot of Your Day

As a key member of our global Bearing Team, you will play an essential role in securing the performance and reliability of our installed fleet of wind turbines. Your day involves conducting technical investigations, evaluating component performance, and developing solutions that keep our turbines operating efficiently. You will work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues across Denmark, Germany, Spain, and India to resolve complex technical challenges. Your expertise directly contributes to improving turbine availability and ensuring sustainable energy production for communities worldwide.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead and manage technical cases related to main bearings, blade bearings, and associated sub‑components
  • Perform engineering analyses, calculations, and site‑specific assessments
  • Document investigations, technical findings, and conclusions, including materials that may be used in legal processes
  • Develop technical solutions that comply with relevant norms, standards, and business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to address complex technical matters
  • Support supplier‑related activities, including technical evaluations and contributions to supplier claims

What You Bring

  • Passion for renewable energy and a strong motivation to drive the energy transition
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience in bearing design, calculations, and field performance is an advantage
  • Strong ability to structure and document technical analyses and findings
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence when interacting with customers
  • A proactive, analytical, and innovative mindset
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15–25 days per year in a global environment

About the Team

You will join our Bearing Team within Technical Systems in the Onshore business. The team consists of highly skilled specialists located in Denmark, Germany, Spain, and India. We are responsible for main bearings, blade bearings, and related components across the installed Siemens Gamesa turbine fleet. Working with us means contributing to long‑term reliability improvements, collaborating across cultures, and playing a vital role in strengthening turbine performance for years to come.
