A Snapshot of Your Day

The position we want to cover is an AP expertise who is going to supervise theAP backlog of the AREs under their scope, collaborating with business divisions and other corporate functions and guiding/supervising the external service provider.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • To ensure integrity and high quality of books and records to meet best-practice financial reporting that caters both internal and external requirements;
  • Adherence to Compliance in all accounting practices and processes;
  • Ensure implementation & adherence to Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (SFRG) / IFRS / local GAAP and other internal guidelines by SGRE accordingly, mainly focused in the P2P process;
  • Being a business partner, collaborate with business divisions and other corporate functions, wherever necessary to achieve a common SGRE objective within accounting topics.
  • Establish measures to improve transparency and productivity. Track and control measures in cooperation with technical partners in order to maintain the AP backlog in a proper level;

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience working in Accounting Departments with expert knowledge of the P2P process
  • Studies - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Economics;
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures;
  • Strong skills within SAP S4Hana (including SRP VIM or similar);
  • Sense of leadership and ownership, with motivation to inspire change management and bring improvement in the organization;
  • Language skills – English – advanced (spoken and written);
