A Snapshot of Your Day 

As an AI expert driving impactful innovation at Siemens Energy Grid Technology, you closely collaborate across cross‑functional agile teams to shape AI solutions from concept to deployment and maintain them in production. This means that you will work hands-on with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure that our AI solutions solve the problems of our company-internal customers in a scalable and secure way, in alignment with the company’s compliance and quality standards. You stay engaged with the latest developments in AI, bringing new insights into discussions and serving as a role model for curiosity and lifelong learning. In this dynamic and collaborative setting, you contribute directly to transforming how Siemens Energy uses AI to deliver real value for customers and drive sustainable innovation.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop AI products from conception to deployment, ensuring a customer-centric approach
  • Provide technical guidance for AI solutions, focusing on scalability, security, and compliance based on a solid understanding of data science
  • Implement best practices and agile methodologies to balance rapid experimentation with methodological rigor in AI PoC development
  • Foster a collaborative project environment through servant leadership principles
  • Stay informed on the latest AI technologies and trends, promoting continuous learning and adaptation
  • Ensure successful delivery of AI products by maintaining a focus on customer needs throughout the development proces
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Multiple years of experience in executing AI projects and implementing solutions in a corporate setting
  • Strong knowledge of AI technologies, including GenAI, LLM, computer vision, machine learning, and data analytics
  • Familiarity with software engineering practices, MLOps, CI/CD, and cloud environments like Azure
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively in an agile work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels, with proficiency in English; German is a plus
