The trade compliance and risk specialist will carry out activities related to Wind Power health check and support in any trade compliance and risk activities, such as analysis of modification in the customs / foreign trade legislation, submission of foreign trade forms, permits, etc.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree: International Trade, Commerce, Law, and Economy.
- Professional Experience: Early talent, more than 1 year of experience in foreign trade & Customs are encouraged.
- Desirable to have experience in customs legislation (LA, RLA, RGCE, Rules of the Ministry of Economics, etc.) and trade compliance and risk.
- Proven ability to focus on project work and efficiently bring projects to completion.
- English at a professional working level.
- Proficient in analytical thinking and problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and think critically while also demonstrating emotional intelligence.
Your Responsibilities
The TC&R specialist will be responsible for supporting the following activities:
- Submission online and in person of different procedures/request of authorizations/letters under oath/etc. related to customs and foreign trade.
- Assistance in verifying that the Customs’ SharePoint is updated.
- Support activities of verification of recordkeeping and ensure it is completeness.
- Support in verifying publications/modifications related to Customs and Foreign trade as well as to carry out the analysis and summarize it.
- Elaboration of letters of entrustment (cartas encomienda) for the customs broker at the end of the year, submission and follow up with the customs broker.
- Assistance in Customs Broker Management (CBM) processes.
