A Snapshot of Your Day
The role involves providing technical assistance to the maintenance team, identifying wind turbines or platforms with consistent faults based on site feedback and internal analysis. It also includes supporting the technical escalation process by tracking and escalating unscheduled incidents at wind farms, troubleshooting as necessary. Additionally, the role involves supporting the management of wind service contracts and assisting in the execution of special activities, either in person or remotely. Acting as an extension of the Service Operations Manager on technical issues, this position requires interaction with customers and other stakeholders as needed.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the team of Project Specialist in each Service Portfolio.
- Responsible for coordinating the technical escalation path and fast response to activities carried out at the facilities.
- Responsible for analysis of causes of wind turbine shutdown. Identify the root cause and implement solution(s).
- Manage action plans for technical aspects as applicable.
- Lead strategic initiatives designed to improve the way we perform the service of our wind farms
- Responsible for the daily Wind Turbine Down report as well as Focal Point of their area at Wind Turbine Down meetings.
- Main objective to ensure that the operations are carried out in a productive and safe manner that guarantees the profitability of contracts while also fulfilling contractual agreements with clients.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or demonstrated field experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in the Office suite, including a strong command of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Bilingual Spanish and English.
