A snapshot of your day: Create and implement procedures to enhance the accuracy of the financial predictions while utilizing cutting-edge digital tools.
How you'll make an impact:
- Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for worldwide Support Functions with presentations to management for review and approval
- Develop and implement processes to improve the quality of the financial forecasts using and implementing state-of-the-art digital tools
- Analysing and interpreting raw data to develop valuable insights that relate to business strategy and financial reports
- Enhancing the impact and understanding of their findings through effective communication with department teams
- Partnering with business Support Functions to enhance their short and long-term financial goals
- Establishing processes to develop budget and forecast insights within teams
- Reporting findings and results to senior management
- Training teams in financial principles and strategies to enhance procedures
- Reviewing the processes to identify financial risks and areas to be improved
- Financial analysis and data aggregation with focus on project KPIs of worldwide project business
- Collect and prepare data to analyze global financial value flows
- Help build a strong finance community leading to an analytics engine in the Business Controlling Community
What you bring:
- Bachelor´s degree in the field of Finance, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or comparable extensive working experience
- Several years of experience in Finance / Controlling (experience in commercial project management highly welcome)
- Good knowledge of Excel, SAP, Tableau, and DASH tools
- Experience in the digitization of controlling processes and experience in the use of digitization tools (Alteryx, UIPath etc.) favorable
- Business fluency in English is key, proficiency in German is beneficial
- A networker who can score points with strong communication skills and good time management

Within our Solution Organization we work on customized solutions for power plants, whether it is the most efficient conventional power generation, industrial application for process steam or heat generation, hybrid solutions including renewable energy and their integration or making big steps toward decarbonation with hydrogen producing plants or environmental friendly power generation on ships and barges.
