What You Can Expect

Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments - including an eight-month international placement - you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.

In this role, you will support our global Strategic Procurement organization in driving value creation across the supply chain – from supplier strategy and continuous improvement programs to sustainability and risk management. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and gain exposure to global sourcing decisions that directly impact Siemens Energy’s business success. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.

• Contribute to strategic procurement initiatives such as supplier strategy development, supplier relationship management, development of new suppliers, cost competitiveness, and risk mitigation across a global supply base
• Support cross-functional and international projects, collaborating with engineering, quality, sustainability, and business stakeholders to strengthen resilient and transparent supply chains
• Drive value creation and innovation by analyzing data, preparing decision-ready insights, and supporting initiatives in digitalization, and supplier performance improvement.

What You Bring

• A strong interest in strategic procurement, supply chain management, or commercial topics, combined with analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach
• Relevant experience through internships and/or working student roles is essential; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome
• A master's or doctoral degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or economics
• Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
• Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel.
