A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)
Service Operations is seeking a motivated financial analyst with digitalization experience to join their Orlando, FL team. This role involves collaborating with management and technical teams to support business growth and drive digital transformation. Key responsibilities include revenue recognition, financial analysis, budgeting, performance measurement, and preparing financial presentations for global and domestic management. The position offers exposure to financial processes, reporting tools, and end-to-end service operations, providing opportunities for growth, process improvement, and efficiency enhancements in a dynamic and exciting environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
- Provide expert analysis and evaluations on financial, accounting, cost, and trend reports to improve the results of the organization.
- Perform financial planning, forecasting, controlling, and budget consolidation, including top-down and bottom-up plans, proceed with revolving midterm planning, and ensure compliance with Siemens Energy Financial Reporting Guidelines and IFRS requirements.
- Ensures monthly project estimate updates, works with operations to resolve and correct estimates, and enforces company revenue recognition policy.
- Collaborate with Service Operations counterparts and assist with the training as needed on procedures that impact accounting and finance.
- Supports the development and execution of digitalization initiatives within Services Operations, encompassing financial analysis, planning, forecasting, controlling, and budget consolidation for both top-down and bottom-up plans.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and develop reusable business analytics using digital tools, contributing to management decision-making and supporting special initiatives.
What You Bring (requirements)
- BA/BS Degree or higher required in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
- 5-8 years of broad Accounting/Finance experience
- Highly proficient in SAP with knowledge of digital analytical tools such as Alteryx and Tableau
- Proven knowledge in project implementation, contract or order administration, and construction accounting principles, and prior experience in commercial operations including Field Service, Repair/Manufacturing, Hardware.
- Strong financial competence, analytical skills, and digital literacy coupled with a history of cross-functional collaboration within Operations and Finance, demonstrating leadership skills, professional judgment and problem-solving capabilities to address sophisticated challenges.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective interactions with customers, staff, and all levels of management.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
