Are you a dedicated professional in energy systems looking to better your career in the energy transition? As a Senior Energy System Modeller, you hold a pivotal role in the development and implementation of energy transformation projects within Siemens Energy’s Grid Consulting service. This role will have you collaborating with consultants and international teams across the US, UK, Germany, and Australia, where you will provide mentorship to junior team members. Your responsibilities will include coordinating energy system modelling for global projects, advising energy and ancillary market forecasting for different regions, and working closely with colleagues and clients to produce high-quality technical and economic analyses.

Located in Split, Zagreb or Osijek (Croatia), you will be a part of the team of Pro Integris d.o.o. who is the 100% Siemens Energy subsidiary/legal entity.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Direct energy system simulation for global projects, employing sophisticated tools including Hitachi Promod and Plexos.
• Work together with global teams to deliver assessments regarding the technical and financial aspects for utilities, regulators, developers, and investors.
• Handle the forecasting of energy and additional market trends in diverse locations and regions.
• Contribute to cases, economic studies, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Take part in project meetings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions with coworkers and external associates.
• Give mentorship and support to less experienced team members.

What You Bring

• A university degree or equivalent experience in fields like engineering, mathematics, economics, computing, or a related team.
• With over 5 years of professional expertise in operations research, examining energy system dynamics, renewable energy sources, or market evaluations.
• Proficiency in using Hitachi Promod and/or Plexos is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in a business context, with proficiency in English.
• Ability to thrive in diverse, international teams and a willingness to learn, adapt, and travel as required.
