A Snapshot of Your Day

We are now looking for a skilled SCADA Configuration Engineer. The key focus of this role will be on deploying, configuring, testing, solving, operating, maintaining, patching, updating, upgrading, and extending new and existing SCADA Systems to provide support for all Onshore Windfarm fleet within the regional Engineering Department.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Deployment and configuration of project specific SCADA systems and software solutions, including communication protocols and creating tag list towards internal/external interfaces and equipment
  • Support test and verification on installed software applications and systems, such as SAT and FAT tests
  • Patch management of installed software and applications
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the project sales, execution and after market teams in all phases of the projects (including new projects and service projects).
  • Solving tickets coming from internal and external partners.
  • Acting as interface between the system application in the field and the central product development teams – providing feedback and inputs to continuous product development and processes

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in either Automation-, Electronic-, IT- and/or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong SCADA and/or Automation Engineering background with experience working with SCADA Systems in Power plants, preferably in the wind industry.
  • Knowledge on SCADA Software, Database Management and SQL/Oracle/Others DB System.
  • Knowledge and capability to work with configuration and solving on the following communication protocols: OPC-UA, RestFul API, OPC XML DA, IEC101, IEC104, Modbus, DNP3.0 and IEC61850.
  • Experience in programming and implementation on TIA Portal V15 and Simatic S7 PLC Line, Codesys and PLC Development or IEC 61131 Ladder in the Energy industry is an advantage.
  • As a person you are dedicated, extrovert, analytical and able to create and maintain an overview of complex tasks, are good at networking, and have good communication skills.
  • Open to interact with customers and external collaborators.
  • Motivated by working in a strong technical, customer focused and intercultural environment.
  • Fluent in English. German/Spanish/Danish is a plus.
