The functional consultant will support the IT Portfolio and IT Service Management team within Siemens Energy. The consultant will work directly with core members to address needs across the Siemens Energy service / project.

You must be a technology enthusiast who can demonstrate software design principals combined with latest technologies to realize any software solutions. You will be responsible for topics within the SAP ERP & SAP BW on HANA with IP Services/Projects of Siemens, SAC and other reporting technologies.

Honestly, we don’t have all the answers. Given the scale of the challenge we need many types of perspectives to help reinvent the future and we can’t do it alone. Our team is looking for innovative, hard-working, versatile consultant that will drive us forward on this exciting venture.

How You’ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities

• Be part of SAP ERP based Services of Siemens Energy, technically handle SAP BI, BW on HANA related projects/services.
• Design performance optimized quality solutions and provide new solutions as per Siemens Energy IT strategy.
• Code review, performance improvements, solution architecturing.
• Requirement engineering, finding functional and technical solutions to the requirements
• Helping S4 project team to understand and migrate existing functionalities.
• Support Service / application life cycle (design, implementation, operation, phase out) including continuous service improvement
• InfoSec and Vulnerability Management within the responsible services
• Interacting with customers and suppliers on technical level

What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities

You should be an expert (10+Years) IT professional with your graduation in Engineering or equivalent knowledge (MCA).

Technical Skills & Experience

• Intensive hands on experience of SAP Business Warehouse 7.x/7.3/7.5.
• Good solid understanding of SAP BW Integrated Planning.
• Hands on experience on developing stories, reports and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Good experience in dealing with Webdynpro/BSP Applications.
• Experience in OOPS ABAP.
• Should be capable enough to work on Analysis for Office customizations using VBA.
• Good Analytical & Reporting Skills.
• Advance Data Modelling Skills.
• Must have:
• SAP BW 7.3/7.5 on HANA
• SAP BW Integrated Planning
• SAP BEX Queries
• Analysis for Office
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Good to have knowledge on Snowflake.
• Hands on experience in requirement engineering, design and implementation of customer demands.
• You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• You must have excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
• You must be a teammate and be able to build consensus with others
• Ability to act on own responsibility.
• Self-motivated and having tight-knit collaboration skills to work in a global, agile/lean environment
• Working within global teams and different stakeholders in all relevant IT departments
• Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies demonstrating them for solutioning.
• Should have experience in Project Management.
