Located in Zagreb (Croatia), you will be a part of the team of Pro Integris d.o.o. who is the 100% Siemens Energy subsidiary/legal entity.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a strong protection and control team, working on the best design solutions in the market. Protection Engineer will work on worldwide projects. The role will require close coordination and teamwork with other team members as well as with Design, SCADA and ICT Engineers.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in HV/MV substation relay protection. The candidate should have experience with IEC 61850 substation application, as well. Work involves preparation of documentation, configuration files, component specifications, inquiries, and technical discussions with other parties (suppliers, customers, internal parties)

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Analyze customer technical specifications to better understand aspects of the solutions.
• Preparation & review of substation engineering deliverables such as key single line diagram, detailed design diagrams, signal list, interface points, etc.
• Preparation of configuration files, test protocols and test procedures (ITP).
• Testing control and protection panels (point to point) and functional test of relevant numerical equipment during preFAT/FAT/IFAT and SAT/HAT.
• Participating project meetings or kick off meetings remotely or in person at client premises.
• Availability to travel based on planned schedule and ad hoc interventions worldwide.
• Coordination with internal departments and sub-suppliers for individual main components and subsystems.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in power engineering or electrical engineering.
• Fluency in English.
• Willigness to travel approximately 50 % of the working time. Busines trips are around the world and one business trip cointains maximum 4 weeks.

The team contains 10 englineers in Split and 9 engineers in Zagreb.
