We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Gas Services team where you will be responsible for the execution of gas turbine, steam turbine, generator long-term programme (LTP) as well as open market service projects in Bangladesh.

The Project Manager organizes and leads the project team to fulfill the project goals through meetings and clear and efficient communication structures with all relevant partners.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Complete the projects to meet the required standard of quality (time, budget, functionality) and ensure business success.
• Act as the customer’s single point of contact for management of the LTPs and standard business. Monitor and drive improvement of Key Performance Indicators (unit availability & reliability, revenue & margin, customer satisfaction).
• Identify and acquire appropriate resources needed, ensure that these resources are sufficiently provided to the project.
• Lead project teams, provide directions and make sound business judgement.
• Collaborate with external and internal collaborators to plan, schedule and complete outages, including management of part deliveries, seizing upsell opportunities and implementing risk mitigation measures where required.
• Create and maintain documentation according to our quality management process.
• Build, grow and maintain strong customer relationship.
• Set an example in driving zero harm culture.
• Minimize non-conformance costs and ensure recording and communication of lessons learned.
• Involvement in the proposal stage of projects, including negotiation of contracts and supporting the development of bids.

What You Bring

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or higher in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Proven experience in project management for power generation business or rotating equipment.
• Experience with risk mitigation, and risk and opportunity management strongly preferred.
• Proficient in contract and claim management for power generation projects, including negotiation.
• Good analytical, decision making and communication skills.
• Strong passion and proven success in achieving profitable project execution.
• Distinct customer orientation and strong customer interface skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS project. Experience in using project management tools is a plus.
• Availability to travel regularly to project locations, domestically and abroad
• Bangladeshi National / Full working permit for Bangladesh.

Our Gas Services Project Management team consists of project managers in Malaysia and Bangladesh who lead the execution of LTPs and standard businesses for gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and compressors. We work hand in hand with our Siemens Energy colleagues around the world to provide services to our oil & gas, power generation and industrial customers.
