A Snapshot of Your Day

On a typical day you will manage the technical scope of electrical systems for rotating equipment projects, such as centrifugal compressors and gas turbines. Your responsibilities include translating electrical BOMs into RFQs, coordinating with suppliers for technical clarifications, and preparing detailed engineering reports and documentation. You will ensure compliance with industry standards and safety laws while supporting project management activities. Additionally, you will supervise production technical staff during assembly, mentor junior engineers, and address customer inspection concerns in collaboration with the QC team, applying your knowledge of SAP, Teamcenter, NX, and other electrical design software.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Manage the technical scope of electrical systems for rotating equipment projects, including centrifugal compressors and gas turbines.
• Translate electrical BOMs into RFQs and coordinate with suppliers for technical clarifications and component selection.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and build various electrical diagrams as per project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety laws while supporting project management in operational activities and meetings.
• Supervise production technical staff during assembly work and provide mentorship to junior engineers for professional development.
• Address customer inspection concerns in collaboration with the QC team and possess knowledge of SAP, Teamcenter, NX, and other electrical design software.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience, with 7 to 10 years in relevant fields like power generation or oil refining.
• Strong critical thinking and logical problem-solving skills, with a focus on fixing complex technical issues.
• Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time and ensure compliance with departmental processes for quality and safety.
• Outstanding analytical skills and a diligent approach, focusing on precision in work deliverables.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a coordinated team member.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
