A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role you will be trained as a Proposal specialist on the management of customized offers regarding existing high voltage equipment and substations, supporting sales activities during the offer phase. With this opportunity you will have the chance to increase your technical knowledge establishing long term relationships with relevant customers in the energy market.
How You’ll Make an Impact
The apprentice will be trained by a tutor and in the medium-long term will be responsible for the following activities:
- Analyze tender documentation (technical and contractual) to develop the offer in correct way
- Develop offers from a technical and commercial standpoint within the Transmission Service Business Unit
- Identify the most appropriate technical solutions and perform detailed price calculation using specific tools
- Check documentation when orders are received
- Use our offer tool to manage offers across different stages
- Collaborate with colleagues from the operations department to manage maintenance contacts
- Perform site surveys to acquire technical details required to develop optimized and customized offers
- You will represent Siemens Energy in front of the customer during any phase of the offer preparation process and to provide technical support to our sales organization
What You Bring
- Recent high school Diploma in a technical field (eg “Perito Elettrotecnico”) or a Master's degree in engineering
- Previous internship experiences as a technician or as a designer will be considered a plus
- Excellent knowledge of Italian as well as English
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of AUTOCAD
- Availability for business trip in Italy according to the project needs
- Multifaceted and flexible; looking for a professional growth as service proposal specialist
- Strong team player used to work in a multicultural environment
- Capable to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
- Good problem-solving capabilities
