Snapshot of Your Day
Your schedule will follow a 2:2 rotation pattern. Work typically begins at 8:00 AM, depending on weather conditions, and starts with a short morning briefing during which the Team Leader outlines the planned tasks and assigns responsibilities. Throughout the day, your activities will vary depending on the stage of the project. You may be involved in preparing or completing work on wind turbines before or after component replacement, as well as working with hydraulic and electric tools to disconnect or connect cable, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. The role also requires performing tasks at height as part of standard turbine maintenance. In addition, you will take part in crane-supported operations for replacing large components such as the generator, gearbox, main bearing, blade bearings, blades, yaw ring, and other major turbine parts.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Apply your mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills to support complex turbine repairs and major component replacements.
- Maintain strong safety, quality, and environmental standards in all field tasks and site operations.
- Adapt quickly to rotating schedules, changing work sites, and varying project demands across Poland and the EU.
- Work efficiently in demanding conditions, confidently handling heavy loads and tasks at height in all weather.
- Communicate clearly in Polish and English to coordinate smoothly with local teams and international colleagues.
- Contribute as a dependable team member within the 14‑technician crew, supporting collaboration and consistent project delivery.
What You Bring
- A strong technical base in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems to support advanced turbine maintenance.
- Physical readiness for field work, from lifting heavy equipment to operating safely at heights.
- Fluent Polish and solid English skills for smooth cooperation with both local and international teams.
- Flexibility to travel frequently and adapt to new locations, schedules, and site conditions.
- You’ll need a technical diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical fields to handle the complexities of our technology.
- You must have a valid driver's license since you'll be traveling to various sites.
