How You’ll Make an Impact
- Be responsible for leading the RGR (Resilient Grid and Reliability) innovation team in Innovation Center - Shenzhen.
- To implement the technology and innovation strategy of RGR FoA (field of action) and support business area management and innovation management for sound decision making.
- Connect with customers, startups, industrial partners, government and universities to build RGR innovation ecosystem in the region.
- Explore early-stage R&D ideas and topics that are beyond the existing business portfolio and support the ideas evaluation process.
- Facilitate customer co-creation to transfer market’s needs and requirements into innovation portfolio design requirements and specifications.
- Manage the ICS RGR project teams to develop rapid prototyping of MVPs and execute the RGR FoA projects in time and budget to validate the early-stage innovation concepts for commercialization.
- Lead the Redox Flow Battery project for developing competitive solution and fast time to market.
- Prepare regular project status reviews (Milestones, Deliverables, Actuals vs. Forecast) with all stakeholders.
- Closely work with Innovation Strategy, FoA leads, R&D Planning departments on yearly R&D planning, regular reviewing, and reporting.
- Support ICS TD management on resource staffing and skills development.
What You Bring
- Expertise in RGR products and market.
- Experience in renewables industry or LDES is a plus.
- Strong networking skills within SE business areas.
- Strategic view and clear thinker
- Strong listener to customer’s needs and customer orientation
- Profound understanding of global decarbonization drivers and technologies
- Deep understanding of customer business cases including market boundary conditions and funding opportunities
- Strong communication skills, ability to lead project teams in agile environment as well as a strong business orientation.
- Attention to detail, e.g.in documentation of boundary conditions, identification of potential road blocks
