It takes the brightest minds to be a technology leader. It takes imagination to create green energy for the generations to come. As a Service Technician at Siemens Energy, you will spend your days maintaining and repairing wind turbines at our wind farm Fryslân or Westermeerwind, working in a rotating schedule, four days on and four days off. You will be part of a dedicated team, ensuring the efficient operation of our offshore wind energy projects.
How you’ll make an impact
- Perform offshore nearshore service, maintenance, and repair work on wind turbines to ensure efficient performance.
- Write technical reports on service activities, research findings, and safety protocols.
- Conduct electrical work, with a focus on 70% electrical tasks and 30% mechanical tasks.
- Collaborate with a team of at least two people to complete maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hydraulics and control systems.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and safety in all work performed, adhering to Siemens Energy's operational procedures.
What you bring
- You have at least an MBO-4 in Electrical, AOT, Mechatronics, or a similar field.
- You possess experience in hydraulics and control systems.
- You have a proven affinity for electrical systems and components.
- You are flexible, analytical, quality-oriented and a team player.
- You have good knowledge of spoken and written English, especially technical English.
- You can reach Breezanddijk (or Lemmer) within a maximum travel time of 45 minutes one way.
