About the Role
Performs complex and technically demanding work on-site in a specialized area of Field Service for Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines or Generators. Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is more difficult and complex.
How you’ll make an impact?
- High level understanding of Assembly and disassembly of Turbine frames 2000E and 4000F
- Assembly and Disassembly of turbine casings and components – including inspection and refurbishment processes.
- Using Hydraulic Tightening equipment – Hytorc/ITH
- Lead lifting and rigging
- Able to follow technical instructions and drawings and document shift activities.
- Understanding of Foreign Material Exclusion
- Confine space/Working at Height Trained
- Coordinate daily site tasks to ensure Quality and Safety is upheld to the highest standards.
- Maintain documentation and records for all work carried out.
- ISOH Certificate is beneficial.
- Ideally at least 5 years’ experience in Field Service, Break down Maintenance experience in Siemens Gas Turbines 2000E and 4000F.
- Over 5 years’ experience in leading work groups (up to 15 people)
- Advanced knowledge of English written and spoken. Experience in multicultural teams required. Knowledge of German language is an advantage.
- Willingness to work abroad and do shift work.
- Frequent travelling required.
- Vocational School / Technical Collage/University in Mechanical Degree
- Result driven, Initiative, Team Player & self-motivated.
