Generator Electrical Test Technician

You will be part of our lead factory for generator manufacturing, where your contributions will directly impact the future of energy. Imagine the satisfaction of ensuring that our generators operate safely and efficiently, supporting a sustainable energy landscape.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will safely test high voltage electrical generators and generator components, including stators, rotors, and excitation equipment.
• You will assist in preparing the balance facility for rotor and exciter balances electrical tests and will run the tests
• You will make and support crane moves, ensuring smooth operations.
• You will have the opportunity to work in various areas of the campus on different products as needed.

What You Bring

• You are familiar with high voltage testing
• You are proficient in using computers to access and provide data.
• You bring a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in performing electrical work including electrical testing.
• You have successfully completed the Siemens Energy Electrical Tester exam (we will invite you to take the exam prior to joining the team)

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
