Results-driven Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional with over 6-8 years of experience in the service-related industry, particularly within power plants and the oil & gas sector. Committed to fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship through the effective implementation of the Zero Harm Program and continuous improvement initiatives. Adept at developing and managing EHS strategies that align with organizational goals while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

How you’ll make an impact?

1. Implement Zero Harm Program: Ensure the effective implementation and communication of the Zero Harm Program to foster a positive EHS culture at all organizational levels.
2. Achieve EHS Roadmaps and KPIs: Drive the achievement of assigned EHS focus area roadmaps and associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), while promoting new initiatives that support business objectives.
3. Environmental Impact Reduction: Continuously work to minimize the environmental impact of business operations through comprehensive control measures.
4. Provide Guidance and Mentorship: Offer guidance and mentoring to staff and management on safety practices, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and standards.
5. Policy Implementation: Enforce the company’s and client’s EHS policies and procedures among employees, contractors, and third parties.
6. Risk Assessment Leadership: Lead site risk assessments for planned and corrective maintenance activities, and support teams in identifying and mitigating EHS risks.
7. Training and Performance Monitoring: Develop and manage site EHS training programs, establish and update EHS Key Performance Indicators, and prepare monthly EHS reports.
8. Incident Monitoring and Data Analysis: Monitor site incidents for proper reporting and investigation, analyze EHS data to identify trends, and manage EHS performance reporting and dashboards.

What you bring?

1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field, with a strong understanding of EHS principles and practices.
2. Experience: 6-8 years of experience in the EHS field, specifically within the service-related industry, such as power plants or oil & gas.
3. EHS Certifications: Required certifications include NEBOSH IGC, NEBOSH National/International Diploma, and ASP/CSP.
4. Auditor Certifications: ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 – ISO 9001 lead auditor certifications are highly desirable.
5. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities, along with strong management and presentation skills.
6. Cultural Competence: Proven ability to work effectively with diverse cultures to achieve outstanding EHS performance.
7. Analytical and Collaborative Skills: Ability to identify and analyze complex issues, provide recommendations, and collaborate effectively within project teams and with external parties.
8. Communication and Accountability: Strong English communication skills (spoken and written), with the ability to take responsibility for work products and perform independently without supervision.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
