How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will produce and maintain method documents that guide our engineering processes.
  • Engage in testing and validation of internal and commercial code upgrades to ensure quality and performance.
  • Monitor project progress and report achievements against technical and schedule objectives, keeping the team informed and aligned.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to share insights and drive project success.
  • Utilise your analytical skills to perform detailed investigations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.


What You Bring

  • Post-graduate industrial experience, building on a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree focused on Automotive, Aerospace, or Turbomachinery air/cooling/sealing system design.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed investigations and validate results using 1D methods, such as hand calculations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A thorough understanding of Fluid Dynamics theory and a commitment to continuous personal development in this area.
  • Familiarity with investment casting manufacture, materials science, secondary air systems, and the fundamentals of stress and creep.
  • Experience with FEM and/or CFD analysis for fluid flow and heat transfer, using software such as Patran, P-Thermal, RR SCO3/SPAN, Ansys, Abaqus, and CFD tools like StarCCM, CFX, or Fluent.
