A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a design engineer for steam turbine components, you will work using 2D and 3D CAD 
software. You will independently handle project-specific steam path components in 
collaboration with cross-functional partners and in compliance with internal guidelines.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating drawings and bills of materials, while 
also serving as the point of contact for inquiries from suppliers and the manufacturing 
team

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Collaborate on international industrial steam turbine projects at Siemens Energy
  • Design technically demanding components in compliance with applicable technical standards and norms
  • Support interface partners such as Procurement, Manufacturing, and Assembly
  • Technically evaluate components during the manufacturing proces
What You Bring

  • A successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related field, with a specialization in design engineering
  • Experience in turbine manufacturing or power plant technology is desirable
  • Strong analytical skills, an independent working style, communication and teamwork skills, and intercultural competence
  • Good knowledge in 3D CAD design (preferably Siemens NX)
  • Proficient English language skills, good German language skills are an advantage
