A Snapshot of Your Day 

As one of our Experts Control Systems, you are a true professional when it comes to control and protect the converters systems as well as process technology our hydrogen production plants. To be able to improve our control systems every day, you explore alle the possibilities of how to effectively implement the required control and protection functions as well as how to reduce the project-specific engineering effort. To do this, you collaborate with all other engineering fields, gather experience during commissioning of plants and re-integrate plant experience in our control systems. This is how digitalization becomes possible! We promote your permanent further education and the exchange with colleagues from all over the world. One thing is certain: your ideas will not disappear in a drawer but will almost always be put into practice - worldwide. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Play an important role in the development team for hydrogen production plants as an expert for automation solutions
  • Independent design, implementation and test of automation solutions, including the development of concepts for modular and parameterizable reference solutions, if necessary, with support of internal and external partners
  • Support in the commissioning of hydrogen production plants including supervision of local staff
  • Support for all other engineering disciplines, e.g. for electrical design, HAZOP and safety analysis
  • Execution of customer trainings
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree in electrical or automation engineering or comparable studies
  • Extensive experience in open/closed loop control and protection of converter systems and process plants
  • Proficiency with automation and simulation systems/tools (PCS7, Simatic S7, SIMIT, COMOS)
  • Knowledge in programming safety-related controls; ideally certified as a functional safety engineer
  • Understanding of distributed control systems, network technology, and cyber security
  • Experience in commissioning electrical and process plants
  • Comfortable in a flexible, agile start-up environment, demonstrating personal responsibility and initiative
  • Fluent in English and German, with intercultural sensitivity and willingness to travel
