We are seeking a Compressor Service Programs Regional Project Development Manager (RPDM) to develop and lead all sales activities around large and complex, exciting long-term service programs (LTP), which will have long development cycles. This role is part of our dynamic regional service LTP and Modernization and Upgrades team in the Middle East.
Within the Middle East region, we are supporting customers from the Oil & Gas, chemical and industrial sectors.
You will collaborate closely with the regional Client Manager and take charge of developing program solutions, as well as creating the commercial proposals for the established Service Programs.
This highly networked role requires the ability to work under pressure and meet ambitious deadlines, along with strong people management.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the overall sales development process for large, complex long-term service agreements – Responsible for Opportunity discovery & qualification; strategy setting & development; identifying and influencing key decision makers; and successfully navigating complex internal & external selling environments. Engage legal/contract administration, Finance/Credit, Business Solutions, Control Systems, Business Unit Leaders, Field Operations, and Siemens Energy Management as necessary.
- Use business insight to develop and articulate a winning value proposition while adhering to company growth and profit guidelines. Responsible for Forecasting all LTP business in assigned selling accounts – Salesforce funnel, and accuracy / quality of forecasts.
- Collaborate with the Client Manager to manage the client interface, which includes conveying the value proposition and negotiating contract terms. Work together with the Client Manager to create and sustain a “preferred provider” relationship with the key decision-makers and influencers in client organizations.
- Develop and cultivate client relationships and continually build new ones by active onsite visits and engagement sessions. Bring together and share customer intelligence within SE. Meet SE sales, booking and earning objectives while representing the customer requirements
- Prepare Business activity and forecast reports and deliver technical and commercial presentations for management and clients. Provide technical product training for the regional client facing team, representatives, agents, and clients as the need arises
- Practice a “Clean Handover” to the commercial and project teams for every new project. Responsibilities include final Purchase Order review and leading/participating in all internal and external kickoff meetings.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent/ Master with validated experience as engineer or related work experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams with varied strengths and across organizational and international boundaries. Self-motivated with high energy drive and business sense
- Experience with Siemens Energy’s Centrifugal compressor models is preferable. Rotating Equipment Sales and/or Capital Project Business Development experience, preferably in the Energy Industry. Extensive knowledge in compressor products (Turbo, reciprocating) is preferable.
- Strong and confident presence in front of Siemens Energy and client personnel.
- Understanding client's applications and processes and understanding of competition's products and offerings
- This role will require extensive travel for client interactions and negotiations
