A Snapshot of Your Day 

To address the growing energy demand, you will prepare Long Term Service and Operation and Maintenance offers for the Middle East region. You will collaborate closely with the Technical Sales and Bid Management Team, as well as regional entities, to meet client and tender requirements, and negotiate contracts to successful completion.
You will develop bid strategies with your technical counterparts, analyze contracts, clarify export and tax regulations, perform calculations, and more.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Draft budgetary and firm bids in close collaboration with the Technical Sales Manager and bidding team
  • Implement the full scope of financial and commercial activities during the sales phase, managing financial results to optimize gross profit, cash flow, and assets
  • Analyze tender requirements, identify, and mitigate commercial risks (currency, financial security, payment terms, insurance, export control, compliance), and clarify export and tax regulations
  • Structure bids considering customer and tax requirements, guide regional colleagues in onshore parts, and build transparent wall-to-wall calculations
  • Own the negotiation of commercial terms and conditions, as well as consortium contracts, in coordination with relevant departments (Legal, insurance, guarantee, financing, VAT, customs)
  • Provide input to and present projects during all levels of the internal approval process, act as a counterpart/support to the Technical Sales Manager and maintain forecast quality of financials and overall financial sales reporting in SFDC
What You Bring
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • Long term experience in commercial bid and sales management for complex projects in construction, engineering, energy, or similar industries
  • Proven skills in bid preparation, contract negotiation, taxes, NCM, financing, accounting, reporting, claim, and risk management
  • Strong understanding of Financial Controlling, Management Accounting (IFRS), and experience with reporting systems and financial digitalization (MS Office, SAP, SFDC)
  • Cross-functional and organizational approach, ability to connect and integrate perspectives at all levels, and comfortable with virtual international teams
  • High curiosity, resilience, and motivation for dynamic environments
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (Arabic is a plus) and ability to present results to management
