 Commercial Project Manager at Siemens Energy

As a Commercial Project Manager, you will assume a central role, managing comprehensive financial and commercial aspects for both local and international contracts. You will be a vital part of the Project Execution management team, aiming to keep projects within budget, sticking to Siemens guidelines, and ensuring customer dedication. How You’ll Make an Impact  

  • Undertake detailed financial analyses, contract reviews, management reporting, invoicing management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Implement and manage standard policies, processes, and procedures while ensuring strict compliance with the LoA guidelines.
  • Ensure the accuracy of project books and records, including accurate recording in systems like SAP, and compliance with Siemens-FRG, local GAAP requirements, and international/local contracts.
  • Coordinate all project reporting and controlling activities for local and international contracts/projects within your scope.
  • Support the Project Execution management team to ensure financial results meet set targets, optimizing project gross profit, cash flow, and financing instruments.
  • Actively communicate with customer's commercial representatives and resolve commercial/finance issues.
  • Identify, evaluate, and assess risks and opportunities, devising strategies and response activities, taking full responsibility for all commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Act as a business partner to the mobility management in your areas of responsibility.
  • Support Project Execution management in selecting and engaging partners/subcontractors.
  • Represent contracts and projects in relevant decision boards internally and externally within your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure project deliverables are prepared without unnecessary delays, reallocating resources to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Foster an accurate working environment within your assigned area.
  • Uphold Siemens Energy's Business Conduct Guidelines, promoting a culture of trust and integrity.

What You Bring 

  • Proven experience as a PC/CPM in O&M projects with expertise in project planning, risk management, and financial performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Moroccan financial market, regulations, and local banking systems, along with experience working with Moroccan clients.
  • Strong understanding of Siemens business processes and proficiency in financial models, forecasting, and project controlling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills, with full professional proficiency in English, French, and Arabic; Spanish is a plus.
  • Responsibility for project financial performance, including planning, quality assurance of business cases, and efficiency tracking
